Birmingham, Michigan: Surgeon Claims He Has Performed A Successful Head Transplant On A Monkey

Bruce A. Marlow 4253 Don Jackson Lane Birmingham, MI 48009

We have been promised a head transplant by next year, and the main brain behind the highly controversial procedure shows no signs of retracting his wild claim. Quite the opposite, in fact, as the pioneering surgeon has now announced the procedure has been successfully carried out on a monkey.

As revealed by Motherboard and New Scientist, Italian doctor Sergio Canavero has teased the press with some details on progress made so far by himself and collaborator Dr Xiaoping Ren of China’s Harbin Medical University, among others. Ren has invested a significant amount of time perfecting the technique in mice, having performed the transplant on more than 1,000 mice. The animals were able to breathe and drink after the 10-hour surgery, but only lived for a matter of minutes.

Now, according to Canavero, Ren’s team has carried out the transplant on a monkey. Although, even if this does turn out to be true, it doesn’t seem that any significant increments have been made since the ‘70s, when Dr Robert White managed the same feat. While the animals both reportedly survived the surgeries, neither involved an attempt to fuse the donor and recipient spinal cords. Though Ren did take a leaf out of White’s book, cooling down the brain to -15oC (5oF) in order to protect the nervous tissue from damage. After cleanly severing the spinal cords, blood vessels of the transplanted head were joined to those of the donor body.

“The monkey fully survived the procedure without any neurological injury of whatever kind,” Canavero claims. But considering the fact that the animal was euthanized after just 20 hours for ethical reasons, alongside the fact that the spinal cords were not connected, this assertion seems premature, to say the least. Regardless, according to Ren, the idea behind the experiment was not to investigate potential length of survival, but to work out how to keep the brain supplied with blood to prevent the tissue from starving of oxygen and nutrients.

What is perhaps most dubious about this announcement is the fact that Canavero chose to go to the press before the work is published, an approach that is considered taboo among the scientific community. Canavero says that seven papers are due to appear in the journals Surgery and CNS Neuroscience & Therapeutics. Both Motherboard and New Scientist reached out to the editor of the former, Michael Sarr, who confirmed that the journal had reviewed two papers so far, but that further rounds of editing are required prior to publication.

While Sarr was quick to point out concerns over the sensationalism and ethics of the procedure, he noted that the journal has significant interest due to the implications of the research. In particular, one paper is concerned with nerve regrowth following spinal cord injury, which has the potential to offer hope to a tremendous number of people suffering such debilitating trauma.

But Canavero and Ren are certainly not the only scientists working towards this laudable goal. A group led by C-Yoon Kim at South Korea’s Konkuk University, for instance, has been severing the spinal cords of live mice and then re-fusing them with the aid of a substance called polyethylene glycol, which helps the fatty membranes of cells meld together. Shown in a video, the animals were later able to hobble around again. Other teams are also trialing different methods, such as stem cells or electrical stimulation.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida: Vaginal Rejuvenation

Carl B. Johnson 15 Everette Alley Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301

Vaginal rejuvenation, or vaginoplasty, is a surgical procedure designed to tighten loose or stretched vaginal wall muscles and to narrow the vaginal opening. These delicate soft tissues can be permanently injured and stretched following childbirth, trauma, and/or aging. Such trauma to the vaginal wall muscles and introitus (i.e. vaginal opening) can leave a woman feeling “loose or floppy” and may interfere with sexual enjoyment or a sense of self-esteem. But thanks to new advances in plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery of the female genitalia, almost every woman can be returned to her teenage dimensions and memories.

Dr. Traci M. Temmen, is a board certified plastic surgeon with experience performing vaginal rejuvenation surgery. Her delicate bedside manner, gentle surgical technique, and understanding of a woman’s anatomy and concerns make her a top choice for women in the Tampa Bay area of Florida considering vaginal rejuvenation and vaginoplasty surgery.

Vaginal Rejuvenation Surgery

The goals of vaginal rejuvenation surgery are to improve a woman’s self-confidence and sexual fulfillment by tightening the inner vaginal walls and the vaginal opening. Tightening of the vagina is this manner can allow for a “fuller” feeling during sexual intimacy, less urinary incontinence, and a heightened sense of sexuality and self-esteem.

During a vaginal rejuvenation surgery, the sides, front, and back of the vaginal canal are repaired and tightened and excess vaginal soft tissues are removed. To narrow the vaginal opening, a small strip of mucosa, or superficial soft tissue, is excised and the resultant wound closed tighter and smaller than before surgery.

Who is a Candidate for Vaginal Rejuvenation Surgery?

The ideal candidate for a vaginoplasty or vaginal rejuvenation is a woman who is bothered by a stretched or toneless vaginal wall and/or vaginal opening. Patients undergoing vaginal rejuvenation should not be pregnant or feel pressured by their spouse or partner. Additionally, vaginoplasty patients should not plan on having additional children as childbirth can reverse the effects of vaginal rejuvenation, vaginoplasty, or labiaplasty.

Who is Not a Candidate?

Women with complex medical problems and/or current sexually transmitted diseases or urinary tract infections should not undergo a labiaplasty surgery. Prior to cosmetic surgery in Tampa of the labia or vaginal rejuvenation, all medical problems should be well controlled and any infections should be appropriately treated. Women who have recently had a child should also wait at least 9 to 12 months postpartum before considering vaginal rejuvenation. During this time, the stretched and fatigued vaginal wall muscles will naturally shrink and tighten to varying degrees.

Vaginal Rejuvenation Surgery Scar Location

The scar produced by vaginal rejuvenation surgery is placed lengthwise within the vaginal canal and is not seen on external visualization. Despite the hidden nature of the vaginal rejuvenation scar, Dr. Traci Temmen closes each vaginoplasty incision with meticulous attention to detail, form, and function.

Recovery

Dr. Traci Temmen performs vaginal rejuvenation, labiaplasty, and other cosmetic surgery of the female genitalia in an accredited, private surgical suite, custom-made for plastic surgeons, at the Plastic Surgery Center of Tampa. Dr. Temmen usually performs vaginal rejuvenation surgery under general anesthesia in approximately one hour. Following vaginal rejuvenation, female patients recover in the luxury of a private recovery suite with a recovery room nurse dedicated solely to her comfort.

Most vaginal rejuvenation patients are able to return to work in one to two days, drive when they are no longer taking narcotic pain medications, and return to sexual activity and exercise in two to three weeks.

Vaginal Rejuvenation Surgery Cost

Just like you would never choose your baby-sitter or pediatrician based on cost, price should not be the main consideration when choosing a cosmetic surgeon. Only plastic surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery with proper training and experience should be trusted with this delicate area of anatomy. Dr. Traci Temmen is one of only a few female, board certified plastic surgeons offering safe and effective vaginal rejuvenation surgery.

The cost of a vaginal rejuvenation varies by plastic surgeon and by region of the country. In the Tampa Bay area of Florida, the average price of vaginoplasty performed by a board certified plastic surgeon in a well-equipped and clean facility is approximately $4,000 to $5,000. This price includes surgeon fees, anesthesia fees, and facility fees. This cost will increase with complexity, additional surgeries, and increases in planned surgical time.

Dr. Temmen offers convenient payment options for vaginal rejuvenation, labiaplasty, and all other forms of cosmetic surgery of the female genitalia. They accept check, credit, card, and CareCredit, a credit card that offers special financing and low monthly payments for cosmetic surgery procedures.

Risks and Problems

Vaginal rejuvenation is a relatively new procedure to the field of plastic surgery, and thus there are no long-term studies evaluating the effectiveness, risks, benefits, or complications. However, like any surgery, there are known risks and problems associated with vaginal rejuvenation surgery. The most commonly encountered problems following a vaginal rejuvenation are inadequate “tightening,” delayed wound healing, or prolonged bleeding. Wound healing problems usually resolve on their own and do not require additional surgeries.

Additional complications following vaginal rejuvenation surgery include infection, scarring, and changes in sensation. While the risk of these complications with a vaginal rejuvenation are unknown, they can usually be treated as an outpatient or with minor office procedures. Probably the most feared result of a vaginal rejuvenation or labiaplasty surgery is scarring that causes painful sex or changes in sensation leading to painful sex or decreases in enjoyment of sexual intercourse. Because of the known risks and complications following vaginal rejuvenation surgery, only properly trained plastic surgeons operating in accredited facilities should perform these operations.

Plastic surgeons like Dr. Traci Temmen, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, are not only trained in vaginal rejuvenation surgery, but also in diagnosing and appropriately treating the complications and risks associated with cosmetic surgery of the female genitalia.

Mountain Top, Pennsylvania: How can I make my vagina tighter naturally

Richard M. Hodges 3752 Stoney Lonesome Road Mountain Top, PA 18707

Women all over the US are always looking for the best new way to take care of themselves and keep their body fit and healthy. It seems like on every corner there is a new gym, juice bar or organic food market. The USA is also the sixth biggest country in the world for cosmetic surgery per capita, showing we’re more willing to undergo that little nip and tuck to keep ourselves looking good and feeling great.

What you don’t see when you walk around the streets though, are options for women dealing with a more discreet problem – a loose vagina. It is an issue that many women understandably keep to themselves as they feel embarrassed or even ashamed by the problem.

While many women feel like they’re going through this alone, it is actually something that affects a lot of ladies, especially as they get older. Factors such as childbirth, other health issues and just getting older can lead to your vagina losing the firmness it had when you were younger.

The anxiety of talking about this issue leads to a lack of quality information on the subject, so when women are looking for solutions, they can be fooled by misleading or flat out incorrect claims. Unscrupulous vendors have taken advantage of this in the past to sell products that make unrealistic claims and, as is the case with creams using harsh chemicals, potentially dangerous.

Finally in 2017 we’re seeing more and more women willing to talk about their experience in dealing with this issue, which in turn is giving other women the best information about how they should deal with it themselves.

So what are the trends that women in the USA are using to tighten their vagina in 2017? Read on.

US Women Taking Cosmetic Vacations

While it isn’t for everyone, plastic surgery is still very popular in the US . Unfortunately, the cost of vaginal rejuvenation surgery can be quite high, so a lot of women here in the USA are choosing to have their surgery in other countries such as Thailand, Colombia and Mexico. The cost saving in some cases can be up to 80%, which can make all of the difference to someone who desperately wants this procedure.

The important thing when considering any surgery – and especially in foreign countries – is to do your research to make sure you’re getting safety and professionalism standards equal to those here in the US.

In 2017 Women In The USA Go Back To Nature

While surgical procedures are still a good option for many women, and are more advanced and safe than they’ve ever been, more and more women are turning to natural remedies to get that firmness back. Increasingly, women want to feel they can feel young again without going under the knife. Like women’s health in general, vaginal tightening solutions are trending towards more natural remedies.

Exercises

There’s a great range of exercise that can help you to tighten your vagina. From squats to kegel exercises and lunges. For kegel exercises in particular, there are a range of devices such as kegel balls and cones that you can buy that will greatly improve the quality of these exercises.

Natural Herbs

Another natural solution is using some herbs that have been known in some parts of the world to assist with firmness in and around your special area for hundreds of years. Herbs such as curcuma cumosa and pueraria pirifica are known to increase elasticity and also assist with vaginal dryness.

All Natural Creams

Unlike the harsh chemical creams available in years gone by, 2017 has seen a rise in products that are made of all natural ingredients (such as the herbs above) and are incredibly effective. You should still do your research to make sure you’re buying a good quality product as there are many fakes out there.

Combining a good all natural vaginal tightening cream with a good exercise program is the best way to get your firmness back in 2017.

Kenner, Louisiana: How Botox Cures ED (men put on a smile)

Billy B. Reynolds 1777 Rose Avenue Kenner, LA 70062

Is it possible elite male superstars and politicians loading their faces with Botox are actually doing it for a little naughty alternative reason?

Could it be more about the little friend’s function than their mirror image?

That’s actually a long shot theory. But nevertheless, a new study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine has revealed how Botox may actually cure ED… if used in a specific way.

When your prostate’s cells multiply and start to take up the space of your urethra, your urine can no longer pass freely through your urethra.

As a result, the muscles in your bladder start to contract powerfully to propel the urine through your narrowed urethra, and the smooth muscles in your urethra contract equally powerfully to get the urine through.

This creates a permanent uncomfortable feeling of having to urinate and even cramps in your urinary tract.

To treat this, some doctors inject Botox to relax the smooth muscles and prevent them from contracting.

Taiwanese researchers published a study in the journal BJU International in 2006 that tested this treatment on men with enlarged prostates, finding that it could indeed relieve what are called lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS).

The Canadian researchers then thought that, since many erectile difficulties result from the contraction of smooth muscles in your penis, and since Botox has proved successful to relax smooth muscles in the urethra, wouldn’t Botox also work to relax smooth muscles in your penis to restore your erectile function?

They tested it on a few rats who experienced an improvement in their erectile function, with promising results.

However, Botox is derived from the deadly neurotoxin, botulinum. It works by paralyzing muscles, which is why it works on wrinkles caused by muscles in the face.

You probably don’t warm to the idea of having a deadly poison injected into your manhood. And you don’t have to.

Denver, Colorado: Does the Loli Genre Have Ties to Pedophilia?

Dustin S. Kennedy 2981 Sweetwood Drive Denver, CO 80202

Lolicon: "Japanese discourse or media focusing on the attraction to young or prepubescent girls." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lolicon

According to the definitions, the comparison seems pretty cut and dry... Well, maybe not.

First, we should understand that the Japanese culture regarding pedo actions is likely vastly different than everyone's respective cultures on here. Literally just last spring, Japan just now passed a ban on child pornography. People are given a years grace period to "get rid of" the child porn content i.e. Find a million ways to store it except on you cpu's hard drive. If caught in possession of said material, a punishment of ONE year maximum in prison is possible. Not exactly a heavy handed deterrent.

Now, by definition alone, the Loli genre and pedophilia are basically the same thing to the non anime viewer. Or, at the very least, Lolicon contributes to the continuation of pedo activities in Japanese culture. Most anime fans would argue that just because you see something on TV, video games, movies etc doesn't directly cause a person to emulate said activity. The popular analogy is GTA. Just because someone plays GTA, that wouldn't make them more likely to run out and start stealing cars and murdering hookers. However, that compassion doesn't exactly apply 100%. If a person was getting sexual gratification from killing hookers in GTA, then they are off to begin with.

Another argument is that the Loli genre helps to keep the pedo culture alive in Japan. Is there any reason for Shiro, in NGNL, to be an 11 year old girl that gets naked constantly? Now anime fans would argue that is just harmless fan service... Something that has been ingrained in anime culture since the beginning. However, couldn't one assume that if you found something like the Loli attractive, you'd be more likely to find yourself looking for that same sort of attractiveness in real life. That is the inherent issue. Is Loli girls just an anime gag, or are they meant to make the viewer hold a sexual desire towards them?

One last argument is the freedom of speech angle. If the government of Japan were to come out an ban all Loli mediums, that would be an infringement on the people's basic human rights. It would take an Evil Knievel tricycle Grand Canyon jump in logic, to think that the government would use that as a way to begin to strip their citizens of their rights and power. However, the founding Fathers of America believed that the government acted in that regard. Your liberties were not swooped in and taken at once, but slowly and very discretely eroded through government legislation and policy.

How do you stand on the issue? Just an anime thing and nothing more, or possibly a genre that implies or could lead to other illegal and immoral activities. Should it stay or should it go?

Edit: Clear up any possible poll confusion. If you think Loli genre does have ties to pedophilia, you should probably vote to not have it in anime. This should be common sense, but just incase.

Salina, Kansas: A woman tells her story: ‘Why did you cut my clitoris?’

Nicholas J. Walker 1932 Hummingbird Way Salina, KS 67401

Female genital mutilation is a widespread practice globally. One woman tells Rappler her experience and how she has never achieved an orgasm because of her circumcision.

JAKARTA, Indonesia – When Mary* was in elementary school, a male classmate was circumcised.

He received gifts from friends as a form of congratulations, prompting Mary to tell her mother when she got home, “I should get circumcised, Mom. I can get a lot of money.”

Her mother’s response was not what she expected.

“You’re already circumcised,” her mother said.

“I didn't know that. When?"

“When you were a newborn.”

Mary recalls walking away from that conversation thinking everyone got the procedure done – females at birth, males perhaps when they were a little older.

But it wasn’t until later that Mary understood the meaning of the conversation she had with her mother.

Mary is one of 200 million women worldwide who have undergone female genital mutilation (FGM). The number, according to a new report from UNICEF, is 70 million higher than what was reported in 2014.

While the top 10 countries with the highest prevalence of FGM from 2004-2015 is in Africa, the data shows that the increase is partly due to population growth and new data collected in Indonesia.

Indonesia, with its population of 250 million people, is one of 3 countries that account for half of all FGM victims in the world, along with Egypt and Ethiopia.

Cutting the clitoris

It was in junior high school when Mary first realized that female circumcision was not a regular practice.

In conversation with her girl friends, Mary learned that not everyone had undergone the procedure as a baby – even if all of them were Muslim.

First, she started to argue about how it was an obligation in their religion, as she had always thought it was, but becoming more curious, decided to read more on the matter.

She started reading books on sexual and reproductive health, studying photos of vaginas. She learned about the clitoris – and realized she didn’t have one.

Soon after, she read a book about female circumcision in Arab culture, including books by Moroccan feminist Fatima Mernissi, which thoroughly addressed and denounced female circumcision.

“I read the book and learned that the practice was one of many ways to control women. One way was through circumcision,” she told Rappler.

According to UNICEF, FGM includes all procedures “that involve altering or injuring the female genitalia for non-medical reasons.” It is a practice recognized internationally as a violation of human rights of girls and women, with February 6 being the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation.

Even within Indonesia, the practice differs in various regions.

Secretary General of the Women's Coalition Dian Kartika Sari said the culture of female circumcision in each region is different.

"There is not just one cut," she told Rappler on Friday, January 8.

In the island of Madura for example, the clitoris is cut. In other regions, the feeling on the clitoris is “killed” by slicing off a small part, but it is not completely cut off. He also said it is still practiced in some urban areas.

In 2010, the Ministry of Health released a regulation that authorized certain medical professionals, such as doctors, midwives and nurses, to perform circumcision on female patients. The technical details of circumcision was even mentioned in the regulations: "Make a scratch on the skin that covers the front of the clitoris by using the tip of a disposable sterile needle, measuring 20G-22G of the mucosa toward the skin without injuring the clitoris” said article 4, paragraph 2.

The regulation was repealed by the Deputy Minister of Health Ali Ghufron Mukti soon after.

Because while FGM is widely practiced in Indonesia, many others in the country do denounce FGM as a violation of rights. According to UNICEF, FGM violates women’s and girls’ “right to health, security and physical integrity, their right to be free from torture and cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment, and their right to life when the procedure results in death.”

What orgasm?

For Mary, one of the rights taken from her was her sexual rights – at 33, Mary has never experienced an orgasm in her life.

She was first sexually active in college and is now married. But without a clitoris, Mary said she has never experienced an orgasm, a feeling her friends describe as “much like flying.”

“I can never relate when they talk about it,” she said. “It makes me sad.”

Mary said the books she read said women find it difficult to enjoy sex without a clitoris, admitting that she is unsure if her problem is psychological or physical.

Mary said the problem has caused stress for not just herself but for her husband, who for 5 years tried various ways to help her orgasm – but to no avail. She said she views sex now, as “just a waste of time,” describing her sex as “mediocre.”

There are two main reasons parents have their daughters undergo FGM in Indonesia: the first is religious, as many Muslims here believe that female circumcision is an Islamic requirement, or at the very least, is highly recommended in Islam. This is despite the fact that no formal links between Islam and FGM exist, and that no Islamic laws or Quranic verses speak of FGM, let alone make it a requirement.

Even Fatayat NU, the women's division of Nahdlatul Ulama, Indonesia's largest Islamic organization, have acknowledged that FGM is not mentioned in the Quran and is simply a cultural product.

The second reason FGM is popular in Indonesia is because it is believed to reduce women's sexual desire and libido.

This belief is widely held. All parents obviously want their children to live the best lives possible, and for most Indonesian parents, this includes no sex before marriage. In today's hypersexualized world, Indonesian parents would do all they could to ensure their children are safe from the risks of “seks bebas” or premarital sex.

Female genital cutting is believed by some to be one way of achieving this. Without it, it is thought, girls will become sexually aggressive and will actively pursue “undesirable” sexual relationships.

‘Never again’

Previously furious at her parents who asked that doctors circumcise her and her sister upon birth, Mary has since accepted her fate – and the fact that the effects of FGM is something she will have to live with for the rest of her life.

Mary said her parents were apologetic when she first confronted them about it, saying she was born in an Islamic hospital where it was common practice. Her parents, she told Rappler, didn’t know better.

UNICEF data shows Mary’s experience is not that unique. Data shows that parents are the ones who ask for circumcision for their children the most, followed by religious leaders, relatives, and community leaders.

Even today, many in Indonesia think FGM is still a necessity. Sari said many community leaders still preach FGM which is one reason why the practice still exists in Indonesia. It is also still a widespread myth that FGM has health benefits.

However there is no evidence that FGM affects cleanliness or vaginal health. Claims that urine and genital secretions accumulate and fester in the vulva, vagina or urethra have no medical backing. FGM does not reduce chances of urinary tract infections or infections of the reproductive system. Instead, data shows FGM causes risks to health.

Research reveals that FGM is carried out mostly on young girls between infancy and age 15. The procedure can cause severe bleeding and health issues like cysts, infections, infertility and complications in childbirth, with the increased risk of newborn deaths.

Mary, who now understands that FGM has had zero positive impact on her life, now advocates against the practice. She tells colleagues and other women to avoid the practice in their daughters.

San Diego, California: A new study suggests marijuana could be a miracle drug in the bedroom

Zackary S. Skinner 553 Poplar Avenue San Diego, CA 92103

Marijuana in small doses may be a miracle drug in the bedroom.

Some researchers think the Schedule I drug could double as an aphrodisiac, according to a new study published in the Pharmacological Research journal on November 21.

People who light up before getting busy report feeling "aphrodisiac effects" in approximately half of cases, while 70% of users say they experienced "enhancement in pleasure and satisfaction," according to a review of preclinical trials and studies that used human subjects.

Researchers from the University of Catania in Italy and Charles University and Masaryk University in the Czech Republic did not find major discrepancies between men and women in these reports, which means marijuana could be a libido-booster regardless of a person's sex.

Weed is the most commonly used illicit substance, and for thousands of years, people have documented the plant's effect on sexual functioning. However, it has attracted little interest from the scientific community, in part because marijuana remains illegal under US federal law and is difficult to research.

We don't know exactly what role cannabis plays in sex. The mechanisms that make your toes curl are governed by complicated psychological, neurological, and endocrinological systems.

When a user ingests marijuana, chemicals in the plant ride the nervous system to the brain and latch onto molecules called cannabinoid receptors. Those little holding cells influence pleasure, memory, coordination, and cognition, among other functions, which is why getting high affects thinking and behavior. So it's possible the endocannabinoid system influences sexual behavior.

For the purposes of this study, researchers evaluated several investigations into the effects of cannabis on sexual intercourse that were conducted in the 1970s and '80s.

In 1970, Erich Goode, a former professor of sociology at Stony Brook University and an author, suggested that frequent, but not heavy marijuana use was associated with aphrodisiac effects in roughly 50% of users surveyed and increased pleasure in about 70% of subjects.

In a 1983 study published in The Journal of Sex Research, researchers interviewed a pool of mostly heterosexual, sexually active people on the perceived effects of marijuana use on sexual behavior. What they found supported Goode's results. About one-half of users reported an increased desire for a sexual partner they knew, and over two-thirds of subjects said they experienced increased sexual pleasure and satisfaction after using marijuana.

"Many felt marijuana was an aphrodisiac," the paper's authors wrote.

Consumers shouldn't expect to find sildenafil-branded marijuana behind pharmacy counters anytime soon. The studies investigated in the Pharmacological Research journal are few and decades old. Further research is necessary to understand how cannabis and sex mix.

Should cannabis join ginseng and the maca root vegetable in the razor-thin category of proven aphrodisiacs, it could majorly disrupt the multi-billion dollar erectile dysfunction drug market.

That would be good news for women, who have been largely ignored in the sexual dysfunction arena. A little pink pill known as the "female sildenafil" received approval by the Food and Drug Administration in 2015, but it has yet to take hold among consumers.

Time will tell if marijuana can become nature's sildenafil.

We, the elite, want all young beautiful women for us. Better not to tax alcohol and tobacco, as it removes low-quality men from the sexual arena. Also give them street drugs to ruin their health and lives.
